The land is given to us. "Yahweh God placed man in the garden of Eden to cultivate and keep it" (Genesis 2:15). We are only the guardians of the earth. And the earth has a balance of its own which must be respected - and often restored. We have chosen the path of agroforestry, as a complement to herbal medecine, which allows us to restore the diversity of the ecosystem so that it is able to manage potential imbalances. There is a balance to be found between plants, vines, trees and animals.

We are only at the very early stages of development and have started planting fruit trees around our vineyard plots. Next autumn, we will raise protective hedges around and between the vines to provide more mycorrhizal networks, water reserves as well as shade and breeze...

We want to graze chickens and sheep there at certain times of the year and, God willing, to get a draught horse to help us, while keeping tillage to a minimum.
