Gamay Saint-Romain - Grenache Noir Blend
Two grape varieties, two vintages. The 2024 Saint-Romain Gamay, a rainy vintage producing light and fresh wines, meets the sun-drenched 2025 black Grenache, with grapes harvested at the foot of Mont Ventoux.
Their blend creates a particularly supple wine with a silky, velvety mouthfeel, opening onto a rich and dense palate with almost melted tannins. No added sulfites.
Grape varieties & terroir
Gamay Saint-Romain (2024 vintage) and Grenache Noir (2025 vintage).
Gamay Saint-Romain: hillsides of the Monts de la Madeleine, at an altitude of 400 m, on granitic sands. 25-year-old vines, yield of 20 hl/ha.
Grenache Noir: at the foot of Mont Ventoux, where the mistral blows, on sandy-loam soil. 40-year-old vines, yield controlled at 28 hl/ha.
Organically farmed, hand-harvested in small 15 kg crates.
Winemaking & ageing
Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, in stainless steel tanks for the Gamay Saint-Romain and in stoneware amphorae for the Grenache Noir. Free-run and press wines blended.
Aged for 18 months in used barrels for the Gamay, and 10 months for the Grenache Noir.
Unfined, unfiltered, and unsulphited: no "contains sulphites" mention on the label, as the wine contains none. Bottled at the estate, natural cork sealed with beeswax.

The palate then opens up, indulgent, dense, and fruity: the sun-drenched generosity of Grenache, the crisp freshness of Gamay.
The tannins, light and almost melted, provide true length.
